The facility has 1 Operating room with general anesthesia capabilities, 2 Treatment rooms with local/ monitored anesthesia care capabilities, 1 Preoperative area and 1 Post Anesthesia Care Area.CasesCVSC specializes in Pain Management, Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Dental/Oral surgery, Gynecology, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, and Endoscopy.•Strong Regional Skills Required!Location leadership: Lisa Trevan, Chief Anesthesiologist Location Facts:Schedule Includes:•Monday-Friday (8 hour shifts)• PRN Providers must be able to work 1 day per week or a minimum of 6 shifts per monthArea Attractions:•Hagerstown Washington County boasts one of the highest densities of retail in the country.•Hagerstown has 2 major shopping malls•Hagerstown is home to the Maryland Theatre, a symphony house that plays host to the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and the annual Miss Maryland USA Beauty Pageants.Responsibilities•Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department•Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures•Pre-anesthesia assessment•Obtains and/or verifies patient consent•Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient•Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia•Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition•Performance of clinical intervention as neededRequirements•M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine•ECFMG and FLEX•Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia•Currently licensed as a PhysicianTotal RewardsW2 Hourly Rate: $350 hr. 1099 Hourly Rate: $359 hr. (must provide own medical malpractice)
