Des Moines Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the 26-27 school year to serve as a Strat 1 Special Education Teacher. This position will start in August 2026. This position will provide instruction in science courses, so applicants must be comfortable teaching science coursework.
Applicants with valid teaching licenses who do not hold a 5-12 Strat 1 endorsement buut are interested in obtaining it are welcome to apply__DMPS can even pay for coursework in exchange for a multi-year commitment to remain in the district.
