Our AmLaw 100 client is seeking an experienced associate to join its New York–based asset finance practice. This is a core group within the firm’s corporate platform, handling sophisticated finance work for leading financial institutions and industry participants.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The practice advises on complex asset -backed and aviation financings and remains consistently active across market cycles. Associates are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and judgment.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

<\/p>

The Role<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Lead and support asset finance transactions with a meaningful aviation finance focus<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Advise lenders, borrowers, or both on domestic and cross -border financings<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Coordinate directly with clients and counterparties<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Securitization exposure is valued but not required<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

• JD class years 2017–2022<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Substantial asset finance experience from a peer firm<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Demonstrated aviation finance exposure<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Comfortable running deal components independently<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Sound commercial instincts and strong drafting skills<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
