DescriptionPosition Overview:
The AVP, Global IT Finance Reporting and Operations acts as a critical bridge across Finance departments globally. You will be responsible for designing, consolidating, maintaining datasets and reporting solutions that drive financial transparency and strategic decision making across actual, forecasting and planning scenarios for the global Technology function. This role requires a unique blend of financial literacy (understanding P&L, balances sheets) and technical expertise in data engineering and BI visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidate Global Technology segment results across pre-allocated costs and post-allocated allocations and work with the head of FP&A to incorporate key observations on results
- Prepare Monthly Flash reports for Central and NA across actual, forecast and plan
- Build-out of the dataset that form the baseline for the Strategic and Annual Operating Plan cycles and work closely with the Global Finance teams to converge updates into a Global view of Planned Technology costs
- Work with the head of process enhancements to design and maintain financial data models, ensuring data integrity across ERP systems and establish and enforce data standards and validation protocols to ensure “one version of the truth” across finance platforms
- Prepare calendar schedule for Actuals, Planning and Forecasting processes working closely with key stakeholders to ensure timelines are fully understood and are adhered to
- Ensure all reporting solutions adhere to internal audit controls (SOX) and data privacy regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Finance IT, Financial Systems or Business Intelligence role.
- Strong understanding of P&L, capitalization, cost center structures, and allocation methodologies
- Analytical mindset with proven ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and reconcile complex datasets
- Strong proficiency understanding financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysis.
