ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Bartender is responsible for bar service in the Community cocktail lounge.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Bartender:

• Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items. 
• Clear all tableware from tables and bars after service. 
• Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes. 
• Stocks, restocks, and rotates supplies. 
• Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays. 
• Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges. 
• Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
• Serves in the Dining Room as needed.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Full-Time,      10A-6P   Weekend availability required

Salary: From $16.00 per hour {No tips}
