We have an immediate opening for a Clerical Assistant 2 to provide administrative and clerical support within our Harrisburg regional office of PHRC.

The main function of this Clerical Assistant 2 position is to provide a full range of support functions to the PHRC Harrisburg Regional Office administrative, supervisory, legal, and investigative staff in order to expedite the mission of PHRC.
This position will take incoming calls from the public, answering questions about the complaint process, scheduling or rescheduling new appointments or transferring calls to the appropriate staff member. This position receives and logs incoming mail and emails and provides notice of receipt to the appropriate staff member. This position also handles all outgoing mail, including sending certified mail when needed and preparing complaints for formal service to parties. Additionally, this position will perform data entry tasks such as entering new cases, new inquiries, and new contacts into the case management system. Occasionally, this position will provide assistance to in-person visitors. This position will need to use software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams as well as PHRC’s internal case management system. This position will need to operate office equipment such as a photocopier, scanner, printer, etc. This position will need to manage supplies and keep the office environment organized.
