This position serves as a centralized timekeeper with responsibilities for processing time and payroll actions for multiple bargaining units, with a focus on H1 staff, in a regional HR office providing services to State Correctional Institutions. You will use the SAP system to process timekeeping functions for the H1 staff, Corrections Officers, Commissioned Officers, and all other employees within the institution. You will need to have a thorough knowledge of all pay rules, collective bargaining agreements, and time-related policies. Your day will consist of investigating and resolving pay discrepancies, verifying and correcting time entries, inputting payroll schedule substitutions, and coding overtime. You will also have clerical responsibilities, which include filing, typing, tracking data, answering phone calls and emails, and inputting data into various computer systems. Work will be performed with independent judgment and minimal supervision.
