We are seeking an experienced GitHub Architect to design, govern, and scale enterprise-wide GitHub platforms across organizations, teams, and repositories.
This role combines platform strategy, DevSecOps governance, CI/CD standardization, and large-scale operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage enterprise-scale GitHub organizations, teams, and repository structures
- Define and enforce governance, policies, branch protection, CODEOWNERS, and RBAC
- Establish GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS/GHAS-like) baselines, code scanning, and secret security
- Standardize and architect CI/CD frameworks using GitHub Actions
- Lead migration from legacy CI/CD tools â GitHub Actions
- Define strategy for GitHub-hosted and self-hosted runners
- Implement environment promotion, artifact versioning, and release governance
- Architect Git LFS, monorepo/multirepo strategy, and scalability standards
- Build compliance automation for regulated and audited environments
- Integrate enterprise identity systems: SSO, SCIM, IAM
- Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical decision records (TDRs)
Required
- 5+ years experience in GitHub Enterprise administration & architecture
- Strong expertise in Java debugging and payments production support (since this is payments-focused hiring)
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD architecture & GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, secure SDLC, pipeline security
- Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, SSO, SCIM
- Experience in audit, compliance, governance automation
- Ability to work in mission-critical, large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong log analysis, incident troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication

- GitHub Administration / GitHub Advanced Security certifications
- Azure or AWS Solutions Architect certification
- Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevSecOps certification
- Experience designing shared runners at scale
- GitHub storage optimization and performance tuning
- Executive presentation and architecture review experience
