Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Representative / Application Engineer is required to join a leading provider of compressed air systems and solutions. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with training and support provided.

 

The successful Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Representative / Application Engineer

will be responsible for handling online leads, managing inbound sales inquiries, and providing technical consultation to ensure customers purchase the right compressor systems, vacuum pumps, and other related products. This role will support the outside sales team and manage customer accounts effectively.

 

Remote position based in Florida open to candidates with a technical background looking to move into sales.

Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Representative / Application Engineer

Role
• Manage online leads and inbound sales inquiries to convert them into sales
• Provide technical consultation to customers, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate compressor systems, vacuum pumps, and other products
• Advise customers on product specifications and collaborate with internal teams to ensure correct product selection
• Support the outside sales team by processing orders, managing customer accounts, and tracking sales activities
• Stay updated on product offerings and market trends through ongoing training
• Work remotely, utilizing provided IT solutions to stay connected and efficient

Sales Engineer / Inside Sales Representative / Application Engineer

 Requirements
• Proven experience in inside sales or technical sales, preferably in industrial or mechanical systems
• Ability to provide technical consultation and product recommendations to customers
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage leads, customer inquiries, and sales activities
• Comfortable working remotely and managing customer relationships from a distance
• Eagerness to grow into more complex sales or account management roles over time
• Mechanical or engineering background is highly desirable but not essential
