Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Associate to join our finance department and support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working within established accounting procedures while contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process credit card transactions in Bizplay and GroupWare, ensuring timely and accurate integration into SAP
  • Enter daily bank transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support chargeback dispute resolution through transaction review, analysis, and documentation
  • Assist in streamlining U.S. accounting processes, including improvements to credit card expense management systems
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
  • Organize and maintain the accounting filing system to ensure easy access to financial documentation
  • Process payments to suppliers, customers, and outstanding obligations in accordance with payment schedules
  • Reconcile sales tax collected to sales tax returns and support compliance efforts
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed
  • Communicate financial issues or discrepancies to the management team in a clear and concise manner
  • Adhere to standard accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Assist with reconciliation tasks with Korea offices to ensure intercompany alignment and accuracy

Qualifications

  • MUST work in-office
  • 2+ year of experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
