Medical Technologist (SOC Code:29-2011.00) at Cary Medical Center (163 Van Buren Rd. Caribou, ME 04736). Responsible for the performance of various chemical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for the use in effective diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This requires skills in making independent and knowledgeable judgments. Responsible for collection, handling and reporting of all specimens in compliance with CLIA and OSHA regulations. Handle processing and validating specimen tests by performing routine maintenance and quality control tests. Responsible for maintaining and improving skills competencies and in updating licenses and certifications. Requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science. Requires professional registry certification issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Multiple Positions. No Immigration Sponsorship.
