Qualifications:
Texas Driver License
Peace Officer License and Advanced Peace Officer certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
Must have at least five years of successful supervisory experience within Katy ISD or a law enforcement agency of comparable size or larger
Able to work day, evening and night shifts with varied days off
Primary Purpose:
Under administrative direction, oversees, directs and supervises all activities of assigned division personnel, provides law enforcement services where needed, and provides a positive adult presence among students.

Equipment Used:
District vehicles, lethal and less lethal weapons, firearms, handcuffs, alarm systems, security equipment, personal computer, typewriter, and copier
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress; strenuous walking, standing, and climbing; ability to operate a motor vehicle; ability to control sudden violent or extreme physical acts of others and exhibit rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; may be subject to adverse and hazardous working conditions, including violent and armed confrontations; work outdoors in varying climate conditions; drive in different areas of district at odd hours; and may be on call 24 hours a day.
