Description

SUMMARY:

This is a hands-on supervisory position. The Production Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in manufacturing processes, such as assembling, welding, and applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products. 


SCHEDULE:

  • Monday- Friday Day Shift
  • 9/80 schedule- every other Friday scheduled off! 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of an assigned production team to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of production employees
  • Complete timekeeping approvals and conduct performance evaluations in accordance with company policy
  • Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction through oversight of fabrication, testing, inspections, and material control
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including manufacturing travelers and inspection records
  • Monitor incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products for quality and compliance
  • Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow
  • Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and work procedures
  • Foster a clean, organized, and collaborative work environment that promotes productivity and accountability
Requirements
  • Associate degree from a technical or two-year college, or equivalent combination of education, training, and 2–5 years of related production experience
  • Strong technical and fabrication skills preferred
  • Prior supervisory, lead, or employee training experience highly desirable
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with the capacity to motivate and influence others
  • Comfortable using standard computer applications and production systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.; must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Protected Individual in compliance with ITAR requirements
