As a driving post, you will check credentials, issue badges, manage entry and exit activity, and document security-related events using a computer and/or tablet. You will stay highly visible at key points, help to deter unauthorized access, and deliver a welcoming customer service experience while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a retail distribution location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and directing deliveries and drivers to designated areas per site policy.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and complete required logs and reports for security-related events, unusual activity, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
