About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.

What Youll Do

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
• Handle month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and track fixed asset schedules.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with auditors during annual audits and provide required documentation.
• Support special projects and process improvements within the accounting team.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience (public or corporate).
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• CPA preferred, but not required.
