Accountabilities
- Represents insured individuals and the company in bodily injury and property damage lawsuits.
- Prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Drafts and presents pre- and post-trial motions proficiently.
- Collaborates with colleagues to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Advises business clients on legal matters on a day-to-day basis.
- Manages legal projects and ensures team collaboration.
- Stays updated on new laws and regulations impacting legal strategies.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the state bar.
- 3+ years of proven litigation experience or relevant skills.
- Experience as first or second chair in jury trials.
- Familiarity with insurance defense is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and online legal research.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with legal professionals.
- Capacity to manage a substantial caseload and work remotely.
