Support the day-to-day flow of inbound and outbound shipments by coordinating driver arrivals, dock door assignments, shipping documentation, and communication between transportation and warehouse teams. This role ensures accurate records, smooth driver experiences, and efficient load movement through strong organization, attention to detail, and technology proficiency.Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers arriving onsite — checking drivers in and out while providing clear instructions and support
Assign dock doors and coordinate load schedules to maintain efficient warehouse flow
Review, prepare, and manage shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), billing paperwork, and receiving/shipping records
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments within warehouse management systems and spreadsheets (including Excel)
Communicate closely with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate load handling
Monitor scheduled appointments, address late or unscheduled arrivals, and communicate updates to stakeholders
Verify shipment details and documentation accuracy to support operational and billing requirements
Enter and maintain data within the WMS scheduling system and other logistics tools
Provide professional customer service to drivers, carriers, and internal teams
Support continuous improvement efforts in shipping/receiving processes
Assist with reporting, documentation audits, or operational follow-ups as needed
Perform other related administrative or logistics support tasks as assigned
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working with drivers and internal teams
Solid computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, email communication, and data entry systems
Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse, transportation, and administrative teams
Basic math and problem-solving skills may be required at some locations
Flexibility to work varied schedules or adjusted end times, including weekends if business needs require
