Summary

Maverick corporation is seeking an Administrative Assistance to help coordinate telecom construction projects in our growing expansion into Florida. This role supports construction team by providing continuous administrative, clerical, and project support services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking abilities. This role will initially be part-time with the possibility of expanding to a full-time role.

 

Responsibilities

Administrative & Office Support

  • Provide general administrative support to Project Managers and construction staff
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Maintain office filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Order and track office and project supplies

Project & Construction Support

  • Assist with permit applications, tracking, and documentation
  • Process and track utility locate tickets (811) and related documentation
  • Maintain project logs, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Support daily production reporting and data entry
  • Collect, review, and file as-builts, invoices, and subcontractor paperwork
  • Coordinate with field supervisors to gather required documentation
  • Assist with compiling closeout packages

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate with field supervisors, inspectors, municipalities, and utility companies
  • Support compliance documentation and safety records tracking
  • Ensure timely distribution of project updates and status reports
  • All other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. Secondary degree a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in construction or utilities.
  • Experience supporting construction projects or working with field operations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with construction documentation, permits, or work orders is a plus
  • Office based with possible short-term travel.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and background check requirements.
