Citizens Bank is seeking an Analyst to join its Subscription Finance & Services (“SFS”) team. The SFS team manages a portfolio of private equity fund clients of varying sizes, strategy, and complexity. SFS serves as the primary banking partner to CFOs, COOs, treasurers, and investment professionals across leading private equity firms. The team delivers fund-level financing solutions, strategic advisory, and holistic banking services.
The position will support with originating, structuring, underwriting, and executing subscription credit facilities for sponsors with AUM > $1 billion, while also ensuring relationship coverage across the fund family.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Help analyze client needs to support the broader relationship strategy
Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and internal reporting materials
Perform borrowing base analysis, LP concentration and quality review, collateral diligence, and structural risk assessment
Participate in accounting, business, and legal due diligence for credit approval processes and ongoing portfolio monitoring
Review and summarize key provisions in fund documentation, including LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and investor letters (training provided)
Monitor facility performance, borrowing base compliance, LP credit quality, and concentration risks throughout the life of the loan
Support the execution of amendments, waivers, covenant modifications, and facility upsizes as funds evolve
Summarize meeting notes, prepare follow-up deliverables, and track client engagements
Collaborate with internal partners (Credit, Risk, Treasury, Capital Markets, Operations), and external legal counsel
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
1-3 years of experience in finance, banking, accounting, private equity, private capital, consulting, or related analytical roles
Self-starting team player who can think strategically and excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment
Ability to follow-up independently and consistently and play the critical role as the project manager on assignments
Internship experience in investment banking, fund finance, leveraged finance, or corporate banking strongly preferred but not required
