Join our team as a Construction Field Office Trainee and build a career supporting transportation construction projects that improve our communities. This role offers a mix of office-based documentation support and hands-on field exposure while working alongside experienced construction professionals.
We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience, including those looking to start or grow their career in transportation construction. Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

The successful Transportation Assistant (Office) candidate is expected to be proficient in and possess knowledge and experience with basic computer/iPad fundamentals of operation. Familiarity with the following software programs is preferred:

Work Environment
This job is performed in an office environment and or transportation construction job sites. This role routinely uses field and standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, photocopiers, digital cameras, filing cabinets, nuclear gauges, surveying tools, and other field-testing equipment materials.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb, drive; use hands; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday. Weekends and flexible hours are possible.
Travel
Most assignments do not require more than an hour of travel to and from job sites. However, some assignments will require extensive regional travel each day and others could require staying out of town overnight if distance to job site is greater than 90 miles from home.
