An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking an associate attorney to join its Debt Finance practice in Chicago.
This role is well-suited for an associate with experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions who is looking to build depth within a sophisticated, deal-driven finance practice.
The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of debt finance matters, including secured lending transactions and related financings. The practice offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on involvement in transactions from start to finish, and exposure to complex financing structures.
1–5 years of experience in debt finance transactions
Experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors
Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
Experience assisting with transaction closings
Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in

Established Debt Finance practice with national reach
Sophisticated financing transactions and consistent deal flow
Lean, collaborative team with strong training and partner access
Hybrid flexibility in the Chicago office
Compensation commensurate with experience and market
