Principle Purpose of Job

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, focusing primarily on cleaning dishware, pots, and pans for the restaurants and catered events on the property.

Please note that this role may involve placements in Heck's Tavern, Ranch House Restaurant, Volario's, Café Giocondo, or on our Banquets team. While preferences are welcome, placements will be based on operational needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen & dish area.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish area.
• Make sure dishes are clean and free of debris.
• Maintain the proper chemicals in the dishwasher.
• Clean all kitchens daily based on cleaning schedule.
• Must be able to multi-task and plan effectively.
• Complete opening and closing side work to assist back of house and front of house operations
• Ensure Ranch Mission is executed. 
• Assist in all F&B outlets when needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are paramount.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure to meet kitchen demands.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Capable of working collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Committed to maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
• Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities as required.
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and stand for long periods of time. 

Compensation Description:

 $16.00/hour Full-time employees are eligible for free housing (shared accommodations based on availability).

Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
