Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED. Associated degree/certificate in accounting preferred.
- Proficient knowledge and ability in the use of English, grammar, and punctuation.
- Two (2) years of accounts payable or governmental accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in a public school district or municipal finance office preferred.
- Knowledge and application of standard accounting procedures.
- Proficient knowledge with database,spreadsheet, and desktop publishing applications.
- Proficient with manual and electronic filing systems.
- Knowledge of financial software systems (e.g., Tyler Technologies, or similar ERP systems) preferred.
