Position Title: Grant Writing Coordinator
Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville, Wisconsin
Role & Department: Grant Writer in the Human Resources Department
Hours & Shift: Part-time (.5 FTE) 20 hour per week position. Day time scheduled hours with opportunities to work some hybrid or remote hours
Role Responsibilities:
- The Grant Writing Coordinator will be a resourceful and results-oriented person that can work very well independently on researching and investigating grant opportunities
- Will write grant applications and respond in a timely manner to all secured grants for the organization
- Will need to have a passion to move operational opportunities forward to support the organizations mission and goals
- Will be responsible for leading a comprehensive grant management program
- This position will report to the Director of Human Resources
- This position will work closely with many different areas and with different people inside and outside of the organization
- The Grant Writing Coordinator will need good organization skills and follow through on grant project updates throughout the completion of the grant period
- Must have exceptional interpersonal, verbal communications, a caring and compassionate demeaner and good public speaking skills
Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable for this position as well as past grant writing experiences

A degree in philanthropy, business management, marketing, communications, fundraising management or non-profit management preferred

Previous health care industry experiences would be beneficial

Certification as a CFRE or ACFRE desirable, but not required

Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

Ability to analyze data in order to make data-driven decisions

Creative, resourceful and engaging relationship-builder

Self-directed, flexible and adaptable

Ability to be extremely organized and able to meet strict deadlines related to Grant opportunities

Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Teams and potentially grant management software programs

Ability to multi-task and to prioritize many projects and work related needs
