Hadco is currently seeking a full-time, on-site Entry Level Sales Representative in our Melville, NY office to generate sales from new and existing customers. Must be a professional individual who thrives on building sales and business relationships through perseverance.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Generating sales by identifying potential customers and moving them through the sales pipeline.
- Build relationships and develop long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers.
- Make outbound sales calls and follow-up with emails to generate new sales opportunities.
- Sharing product or service information with prospects and providing practical solutions to their challenges.
- Work with outside and inside sales team to develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Ensure all customer orders are given prompt attention
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing and potential customers.
- Track and report all sales activities and results.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
- Ability to learn technical product information
- PC literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is a plus
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a sales career
- Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal; comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and via email
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to initiate and sustain productive business relationships with customers
Preferred:
- Sales experience
- Industry knowledge in metals
- Possess a result-oriented mindset
- Associates degree or equivalent
