Job Description
The Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice Center or Agency) is seeking candidates for 1 position, to assist with processing letters of determination in the Agency’s Legal Determinations Unit. The position calls for staff who are task oriented with great attention to detail. Additionally, staff need to be able to work independently with time sensitive and confidential tasks, have experience with working in a data base and ability to review Letters of Determination for accuracy.
We are seeking individuals with a working knowledge of computer programs/systems including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Pro, SharePoint, TEAMS and Email (Outlook). The position also requires the ability to be knowledgeable of, and utilize, the Justice Center database program.
Specific job duties include: processing letters of determination (LOD) within the Justice Center data base; reporting on the unit’s work load analysis reports; mailing LOD to Providers, Personal Representatives and subjects; emailing appropriate parties final determinations; processing returned mail per the unit’s procedures; closing cases in the agency database. Additional projects and duties may also be assigned, depending on emergent agency business needs. Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents, conversations, proceedings, process, etc. is required.
The position is expected to be in-person at our Delmar office.
