Production Control Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:
 

The Production Control Coordinator develops and implements project scheduling and strategy throughout the manufacturing process to successfully maintain production flow in support of customer deadlines. In addition, this position communicates and coordinates with all departments to ensure successful outcomes.

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• With limited supervision and quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.

• Holds oneself accountable for doing whatever is needed to meet the commitment made to clients.

• Superior communication skills and ability to develop teamwork among staff. 
   
• Must be diplomatic and possess good human interaction skills.
   
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
   
• Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible. 
   
• Thorough operational knowledge of all plant operations.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
   
• Ability to effectively communicate, coordinate and motivate others, helping wherever needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. combined with equivalent experience

• 5 years production control experience 
   
• Experience with ERP Systems helpful

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $28.00 - $35.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
