How this position makes a difference:
This position is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.
Your responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance work, to include equipment repair and preventative maintenance work as required or assigned. Performs the repair and maintenance of APA area floors and walls. Completes work orders and projects as assigned, supporting each team member as directed
- Provides guidance to maintenance technicians in the diagnosis of electrical circuits, control problems, mechanical issues, and other problems that might arise during production runs, or during shutdowns and repairs.
- Assists in supporting more experienced technicians in project management, emergency response, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance processes for facilities, utilities and process related equipment.
- Assists in providing solutions to a variety of technical problems.
- Assists by providing input in the development, revision, review and approval of Standard Operating Procedures/Job Plans that are owned by the maintenance department.
- Assists in providing design assistance using knowledge of both the operations and facilities capabilities and the knowledge of production requirements.
- Maintains an environment that promotes maintenance flexibility, consistent maintenance practices and efficient operations, which prepare for current and future production demands.
- Assures compliance with safety regulations, including safety permits.
- Supports the implementation of lean initiatives.
- Trouble-shoots intermediately-complex issues and anomalies.
- Contributes to the leadership team and engages in business decision making from a Quality perspective.
- Promotes a safe and harmonious work environment.
- Maintains compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training helpful
- 0-2 years to become familiar with maintenance procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of general computer functions such as Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets, etc.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of processes relevant to the manufacturing and production of regulated products, regulatory and development processes, how regulatory entities approach inspections, responding to regulatory observations, regulatory cGMP requirements for pharmaceuticals, regulatory approval processes, cGMPs and SOPs , regulatory entity inspections requirements, regulatory guidance documents
- Basic knowledge of production equipment and supporting systems
- Knowledge and skill in HACCP and other audit schemes
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to support a comprehensive maintenance system, including the ability to write policies and SOPs as well as mentor others in writing policies and SOPs
- Ability to be flexible in work hours
- Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude at all times
- Basic project management and documentation skills
- Ability to trust, develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support
