The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing the sales vertical and MDU business development in a defined region in designated markets. You will be responsible for securing contracts within those MDU (multi-dwelling unit) community, MTU (multi-tenant unit), and residential business segments, to enable Gigstreem to expand the reach and revenue penetration of our high-speed broadband services. Building and maintaining a healthy sales funnel with top prospects, owning all P&L forecasting and improvement for each sale, and working the cross-functional process and support this position requires.

Responsibilities

  • Establish Annual and quarterly goals that align with company’s financial targets, that are approved by VP of Sales.
  • Forecast and seek approval of financial budget annually that supports the positions needs and success as defined herein.
  • Manage and track spend vs establish budget.
  • Comply with established sales and financial process to ensure that all potential new buildings and clients meet requirements for operational and financial success.
  • Work closely with Business Development team to track pipeline progress weekly and facilitate smooth handoff of Opportunities and Clients
  • Attend industry tradeshows to drive new business and grow brand awareness nationally.
  • Work cross functionally to create and implement new products and processes that assist in meeting the financial targets for each product and property.
  • Seek financial approval for all potential deals added to the sales funnel.
  • Work with the executive to prepare and present quarterly board presentations as required.
  • Initiate face-to-face customer contact with high value owners, builders, and developers of MTU and MDU properties to present, propose and secure a marketing and/or bulk agreement.
  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to identify appropriate customers within the target markets.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships.
  • Manage leads and data in Zoho CRM for new and prospective clients sourced through third-party programs, ensuring all communications are logged and accurate.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze and negotiate rooftop rights for the expansion of our network.
  • Review and analyze Bills of Material and Design plans for accuracy and work closely with
  • Sales Engineering team to refine designs to meet our capital investment strategy.
  • Negotiate and close long-term contracts for marketing and/or bulk agreements; this includes new acquisition and renewal opportunities.
  • Work independently and effectively with internal and external legal support staff to resolve/negotiate
  • appropriate contractual terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with the area Account Management team to ensure successful onboarding and hand-off requirements are met.
  • Other tasks as assigned by head of sales and marketing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales a must in Internet and multifamily space; preferred experience in Managed WiFi, Bulk negotiations 
  • Strong network and experience in the residential real estate market.  
  • Strong people skills; organizational skills  
  • Ability to work independently  
  • Experience with financial modeling recommended, but not required  
  • Technologically savvy, resourceful, creative, analytical and business-minded

Competitive base salary ($80K–$100K) and uncapped commission plan, with total on-target earnings of $130K to $150k, based on performance.
