Travel RN - ICU (Night Shift)

Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Travel RN for our high-acuity ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have strong hemodynamic monitoring skills and be able to manage complex cases including ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech documentation system.
  • Participate in bedside shift reports and updates to care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
  • Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience with ventilated patients and post-CABG care preferred.
  • Previous experience in a CVICU setting is a plus.
