Job Summary: Your mission is to ensure the security, safety, and property awareness of the Delamar Traverse City. The Delamar Traverse City Security Associate is an omniscient presence within the Hotel itself and presence ensuring a sense of safety for all those on property. You will responsible for Hotel & Guest Safety.

 Working with the Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager to ensure we achieve to achieve; guest satisfaction, safety, and cleanliness, that of a luxury hotel.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Physical Security Rounds every 30 minutes (or at least once an hour during high volume periods)
  • Interdepartmental Communication & Coordination
  • Must lead by example
  • Knowledgeable of all information noted in the Front Desk shift report
  • Ensures Delamar Guest Service Standards are met throughout the shift
  • Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Resolves issues/problems and keep detailed records of all security interactions
  • Resolves customer issues, complaints, and problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service
  •  Airport Shuttle runs
  • Directives from Front Office Manager (such as preparing amenities for the next days arrival, filing/collating paperwork, etc.)
  • Ensures front desk supplies are stocked and Front Office is clean, neat, and tidy
  • Nightly Security Reports filled out and submitted to the Front Office Manager

 Required Experience/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Security and or Law Enforcement (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in English (verbal & written), multilingual is a plus
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours and schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must possess outstanding guest service skills, professional presentation, and communication skills
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
  • Ability to follow instruction
  • Professional and polite
