Staff Accountant

A publicly traded global travel and expedition company is seeking a Staff Accountant with 2–3 years of experience to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on exposure across general accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepaid schedules
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close
• Process AP invoices, perform three-way match, and assist with vendor management
• Prepare billing, apply customer payments, and support collections follow-up
• Assist with reporting schedules and audit requests
• Work with Excel-based reports and templates

What You'll Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting processes
• Experience with JEs, reconciliations, AP, AR, and month-end close
• Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, pivot tables)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
