Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader in automation systems and solutions, is seeking a Training Specialist to support the company’s Quality Management Program while contributing to companywide and business specific learning initiatives.  


Training Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Quality Aligned Training & Facilitation 

  • Design and maintain role specific training plans aligned to quality standards, performance expectations, and business outcomes 
  • Facilitate and present instructor led training sessions and workshops (in person and virtual) for frontline employees, cross functional teams, and leaders 
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, and subject matter experts to translate quality standards and procedures into practical, learner friendly training 

Learning Content & Documentation 

  • Develop and maintain learning materials, including slide decks, job aids, facilitator guides, reference materials, eLearning content, and work instructions 
  • Standardize and maintain process documentation to support operational consistency, quality assurance, and audit readiness 
  • Apply instructional design and documentation best practices to ensure clarity, usability, and consistency 

Quality Support & Continuous Improvement 

  • Support audits, compliance activities, and corrective actions by ensuring training and documentation align with quality standards 
  • Identify gaps in training effectiveness or quality adherence and contribute to improvement efforts 
  • Support additional companywide and business specific learning initiatives and partner closely with the Training & Development Manager as needs evolve 
Requirements

 Training Specialist Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Quality Management, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in training, facilitation, instructional design, quality documentation, or related roles 
  • Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and documentation standards 
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating and presenting to adult learners 
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • Experience with Workday Learning, SharePoint, Articulate, Synthesia, Copilot Studio, or similar tools preferred 

 Training Specialist Additional Requirements:

  • Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities 
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to partner across functions and levels 
  • Attention to detail with a focus on consistency and quality 
  • Adaptable and comfortable learning new tools, systems, and approaches 

Training Specialist Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer 
  • Ability to facilitate in person training sessions, including standing and moving within a training space 

Training Specialist Pay:

  • Base Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000
  • Potential Bonus: 5%

The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.
