Swift Textile Metalizing (STM) is seeking a Finance/Accounting Support Intern to assist our Finance and Accounting team with a combination of administrative and basic accounting-related responsibilities. This role is primarily focused on supporting day-to-day office operations while providing exposure to core finance and accounting functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional office setting while building a foundational understanding of finance and accounting.

This internship is for Summer semester and is expected to run from Monday 6/1/2026- Friday 8/28/2026 (12 weeks) and will require 20-30 hours of availability per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance and accounting team, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and general office coordination
- Answer and screen incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately
- Maintain office supplies by monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and verifying receipt
- Enter vendor invoices and process payments.
- Billing customers and posting cash.
- Operate standard office equipment and troubleshoot minor issues or coordinate service as needed
- Assist with basic accounting support tasks such as data entry, expense tracking, and invoice processing support
- Support month-end close activities by organizing documentation and assisting with financial data preparation
- Help maintain accurate records and gather documentation for audits and reporting
- Assist with data validation and cleanup in Excel or ERP systems
- Collaborate with team members on ad hoc administrative, finance, and accounting projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred, not required)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment
Preferred (Not Required)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Previous internship or office experience
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
