Position Overview
A highly respected law firm is seeking a Senior Finance Attorney with a minimum of six years of relevant experience to join their legal team in either Rochester or Buffalo. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in credit and security agreements, as well as M&A financing transactions. This role requires advanced drafting and negotiation skills along with a solid academic foundation.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on finance-related legal matters with a focus on credit, security, and M&A transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of financial agreements.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience as a practicing finance attorney.
• Strong academic track record.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex financial agreements.
• Experience with M&A financing transactions preferred.
